Hyundai Verna features a 1.5-litre, 16-valve diesel with a CRDi burner, and a 1.6-litre petrol featuring VTVT - Variable Timing Valve Train technology. The diesel model comes in two variants - CRDi VGT and CRDi VGT SX. The diesel model has a 1.5L engine with CRDi and Variable Geometry Turbocharger. It clocks power of 110 bhp and 24kgm of torque at 2750 rpm. Hyundai has also introduced Automatic transmission in VGT SX variant making it the first diesel A/T in its segment.
